Despite the massive impacts of COVID over the past year, multiple business across Wales have rised to the challenge and created their own opportunities by diversifying their businesses.
Here are just some of the Good News stories from businesses - launched through New Enteprise Allowance and supported by Business Sense Associatess- across Wales

- Author seizes the opportunity and writes book about COVID, then launches his business and book on Amazon during lockdown. (West Wales)
- Fitness Instructor starts trading shortly prior to lockdown, goes on to adapt her business to offer daily online work out sessions. This keeps the business alive and ready to go when the post covid rush starts. (West Wales)
- Handyman already trading for about 40 weeks when we went into lockdown adapts his business to suit the social distancing rules etc and is now business than ever, working 7 days a week. He is working in empty houses, outdoor work and in gardens. He is constantly picking up work from other Tradesmen who are still off work and at home (North Wales)
- Hairdresser closes successful business because of COVID restrictions. Then adapts her business model to deliver Goody Bags to the doorstep of her clients. She has added extra products and instructions, customising each bag. In addition to this, she has marketed the idea on Instagram and has been flooded with orders. This is keeping her financially stable until lockdown is over and she can reopen. (East Wales)
